Dr. Zhen Wang, born in March 1991, received his Ph.D. in Human Anatomy from Central South University through a combined master's and doctoral program from September 2012 to June 2018. From February to August 2015, he was a visiting scholar at Thomas Jefferson University, USA. Since July 2018, he has been a lecturer at Wuxi Medical School, Jiangnan University. Dr. Wang has been conducting long-term research on cell death mechanisms, with a particular focus on the molecular regulatory mechanisms of ferroptosis susceptibility in tumor cells and its applications. Currently, he is leading several projects, including the 2018 Youth Project of the School of Public Health at Jiangnan University, the 2019 Youth Project of the Basic Research Fund at Jiangnan University, the 2019 Youth Project of the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the 2019 Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation. Over the past two years, he has published four first-author SCI papers and contributed to six other papers. |
