Dr. Chao Yang, a native of Suzhou, Anhui, was born in December 1992. He completed his undergraduate studies in Preventive Medicine at Shanxi Medical University School of Public Health in 2016, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine degree. Dr. Yang continued his education at Southeast University School of Public Health, pursuing a combined Master's and Ph.D. program in Nutrition and Food Hygiene, and graduated with a Ph.D. in June 2022. He joined Jiangnan University School of Medicine in July 2022 and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Research Focus: ·Nutrition and chronic disease prevention ·Bioactive compounds in plants and food efficacy ·Dietary intervention and improvement of gut microbiota ·Gut microbiota and immunity Dr. Yang has published over 20 SCI papers in reputable nutrition journals such as Food Science and Human Wellness, Food Research International, Frontiers in Immunology, and Nutrition & Metabolism.
