Dr. Chenwen Shao, born in October 1994, obtained her Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University in December 2021. In May 2022, she joined Jiangnan University as an associate professor at the School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the integrative prevention and treatment mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. She is also involved in probe development and high-throughput drug visualization screening. In recent years, Dr. Shao has pioneered the use of oxidative stress biomarkers for diagnosis and regulation, combined with high-throughput imaging techniques. She has established platforms for rapid drug screening and real-time sample detection. She has published over 10 representative papers as the first author or corresponding author in journals such as PNAS, Cell Chem Biol (Cell Press), STAR Protoc, and Adv Sci. Dr. Shao is currently a member of the Circulatory Physiology Committee of the Chinese Physiological Society and a young member of the Jiangsu Society of Pathophysiology.
