Teng Liping is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Jiangnan University School of Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Nanjing Medical University in 2003 and her Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Nanjing Medical University in 2006. In June 2006, she began her teaching and research career at Jiangnan University, where she later earned her Ph.D. in Biopharmaceuticals with a specialization in Fermentation Engineering. Dr. Teng's research primarily focuses on the preparation, modification, structure-function relationships, and mechanisms of polysaccharides. Her studies also delve into health interventions for tumors and chronic diseases in the elderly, with a particular interest in the relationship and mechanistic exploration of glycosaminoglycan structures in relation to tumors and frailty. She has led a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientist Fund project and a Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation Young Fund project. Additionally, she has participated in numerous other projects including NSFC, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Support Program, Jiangsu Industry-University-Research Cooperation projects, and enterprise collaboration projects totaling 10 projects. She has published over 30 papers in domestic and international academic journals, applied for nearly 10 national invention patents, been granted 1 invention patent, and received 1 Science and Technology Award from Jiangsu Province. |
